Business Continuity Plan
The Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is a company-wide emergency plan based on existing emergency system and recovery plans, designed to minimize potential damage. SAMSUNG Electronics operates the BCP to prevent accidents and to achieve targets for recovery and re-operation in case of an emergency. The BCP includes contingency programs for effective recovery in the case of an emergency such as fire, explosion, electricity failure, or interruption of public utilities. Guidelines for handling an emergency situation, minimizing damage, and implementing recovery actions are in place for 7 emergency situations. In adherence to these guidelines, all employees are trained in how to deal with emergencies.
